Sincere condolences We were looking for a four seater open tourer and a second hand 4/4 built in 1982 appeared. We had the opportunity to buy it and we will do our best to keep it in the best condition possible. This will keep alive the memory of Mister Peter MORGAN. Thank you Mr MORGAN to have built such wonderful cars. I use it only for the pleasure. Go working with your car is a real pleasure and make me fell on holiday every day. Childs like it too. Especially at the rear on bumpy roads.
Sincere condolences to all the factory team and family. |

I great man of the big motoring world is no more. We met him several times during the last 30 years and keep the very best memories. We are very proud that we have known this man. With his product he gave many, many people in the whole world so much pleasure. He will never be forgotten.
May the Morgan Motor Company continue the history in the same sense as Peter Morgan did.

Never met , but has been my dream for 35 years Thank you Peter for providing me with a dream that will come true for me in the next few years. Ever since I was 13 and saw my first Morgan in a park in England I have had the dream to own one. Moving to a new Country and having the fortune to work hard, you have steered the way to keep my dream of owning my very own Morgan.
40 yrs later, as I seriously search through the pages on the web sites looking now o buy my dream - what a chill down my spine as I picked up the Globe and Mail on Thurs and read about your passing away.
Thank you for giving me a dream , thank you for the pleasure you will give me in my retirement yrs.
My very sincere condolences to the Morgan family - his spirit will live on and on.

Ceaseless Wind In Your Hair! I feel like crying - your name as a true gentleman has spread far and wide, P.M. - I toured the factory in 1968; but never met you. While I still dream about owning one, I always get a smile and a wave and sometimes a "toot" (back), from all Moggie drivers, even here in Canada. Please keep up the good work, Charles et al.
Highest Regards, Dave.

True gent He will be sadly missed - a gent.
As a child I went to the factory for a tour (mid 70s) and like many of us was/is an avid brochure collector. I asked Peter Morgan if he had any old brochures. He promptly took me into his office, rummaged through some draws and produced a sheaf of old Morgan brochures.
Sadly I've sold my Morgan 4/4 but still have the memories. |

A never ending story My sincere condolences.
I never met P.M. in person, but after a meeting in Monaco, where Charles was present I was happy to acquire the latest book about the Morgan family and factory, signed by P.M. and Charles. By reading the book you get the feeling to know the family and the makers of the beautiful Morgans, which makes you feel sad by the loss of a great man who contributed a lot to the famous Morgan cars. May Charles and his crew find the strength to continue the great job.
Me, my wife Suzanne and our three little daughters will enjoy our 4\4-4 seater every day. |

Passing the torch Condolences to the Morgan Family
From Harry to Peter and now to Charles, the Morgan Motoring tradition lives on. The sad passing of Mr. Peter Morgan is noted with great respect and with the knowledge that his tremendous works will continue through his son and those that follow in the great tradition that began with Harry in 1909. I've owned two Morgans and hope to again own another. Regardless, I will always cherish my love for Morgans and the very fine people involved with them. Godspeed to you and your team Charles and may your father's spirit always be with you as you guide the Morgan tradition into the future.

Peter Morgan I never had the pleasure of meeting Peter Morgan but I do have a letter from him saying that regretfully my first Morgan (rebuilt) would appear not to have been authentic but a replica. I have now corrected this and purchased a brand new 35th anniversay + eight. He was clearly a much loved and respected man and I only wish that I could have met him. |

A Real Gentleman It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Peter Morgan. On the many occasions that we met Peter, both at the factory and at Morgan events, he always had a smile and friendly greeting for us which we will sadly miss in the future. Because of him, all Morgan owners enjoy a unique car which often becomes a way of life. Our thanks to Peter, and with everyone else we mourn the death of a good friend and Real Gentleman. |
