A salute
A valiant effort, especially for a first year program. I was so pleased to see the positive response to the return of Morgan to LeMans. It was a great deal of fun to watch from thousands of miles away well across the ocean. The DeWalt team should be proud of it's effort. MMC should be proud as well. The doubting snickers cannot refute the fact that an Aero 8 ran for 18 hours and beat some 20 other competitors.

Thanks for sharing with a super effort on the track and especially on the website.

One thought... The team must be very tired and disappointed. Any way to get them to wave and take a well deserved bow on the web cam? It would be a nice final image for this effort and your fans world wide.

I agree, Viva la Morgan!

AW: sad news
Hi Pit 42 Crew,

Don't be too sad. You all made a fantastic job to keep the car running
for 18 hours. And keep in mind, a lot of other "favourite" cars retired
quit early.

So heads up, for me you are the best Le Mans team with the most
interesting car.

I hope to see you next year back on the track. And if so, i promise, I
will support you directly in Le Mans. (Maybe I can serve fresh french
coffee and croissants for Pit Crew 42 ;-) )

Regards

Morning Peter, Thanks for the good wishes. More than just a few hours
- 8 I think, but we are still going strong. Thanks for the support.

Regards from pit 42
--------------------
Good morning Pit 42 Crew,

Great Job. There are no more Ferraris on the track and the Morgan is
still running.

After this good performance during the night and your quick axle change
I am sure you will see the finish line.

Good luck to the drivers and the pit crew for the rest of the race. (
there are only a couple of hours to go ;-) )

Regards
Peter Yves

I am very sorry to see that you were forced to stop. A lot of people are amazed that you managed to overcome the earlier issues.

Well done and good luck for the next one.

BTW I think DeWalt is Black and Decker in the UK, in which case I am a De Walt user.

I hope that you are able to find the blowback problem quickly.

I was -1 years old in 1962 and I'd like to take my little boy to Le Mans in 2003 to see the Morgan run. At nearly 4 he is fasinated by motor sport and he points and says Morgan or Daddy's Car each time he sees it.

Spyker had same problem ?
I understood that Spyker had a problem with non-ferro materials in the inlet manifold. Engine background of Spyker and Morgan are the same I believe.
