Well done, guys! It was truly amazing to see the amount of goodwill extended to the Aero 8 and the team at Le Mans. It was even MORE amazing to come back to the track on Sunday morning after a good night's sleep see the pit door still open. Morris Garages had already packed up and even taken the signs down!
So what if the car didn't last the distance? There's always next year. All involved can be very proud: none of the Ferraris lasted as long as the Aero (even though they looked faster-- must have been the bumble bee paint job!?).
Roll on 2003. |

Truly Unforgettable! The words above describe the experience of my time at Le Mans, working as part of the Morgan Dewalt Team.
An experience I shall never forget and indeed look forward to repeating again in 2003?
Heartfelt thanks to everybody for making me so welcome. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have been involved with such a momentous occasion.
A huge thank you too, to all those who contacted us during the race offering fantastic support/feedback and indeed are continuing to do so via this Message Board.
Best wishes from the Web development team at Sure Communication. |

Congrats I was with a crowd of Oxmoggers in the UK last weekend and the sentiment of the group was unanimous. An absolutely amazing first attempt and a good poke in the eye for the naysayers. We look forward with eager anticipation to racing sucesses in the future and to a good run at Le Mans in 2003. Bravo to all who worked and supported this attempt. |

Thanks fans This is just to re-iterate the thanks from the team to the supporters of the DeWALT- Morgan Aero 8. Your support kept us going throughout the race and beyond. I've had an experience of a lifetime, which can only be bettered by a 24 hour finish. 2003 ?? |

Could not follow the race on the web but had multiple phone calls with fellow Morganeers here in Belgium. Your worthy attempt at Le Mans makes us feel more proud (if still possible) of driving a Morgan. This is enthusiasm, ingenuity and British racing tradition at its best. If this is not enough to beat the Audis, next year ask more money to BMW, guaranteed tough !
See you next year gentlemen.

Well Done I watched from the start as the reporters from Speed talked about how quickly they thought the Morgan would drop out. Then noticed their awe as daybreak saw the little Morgan still out there. Then their willing the car on as the end grew near. It was a spectacular job gentlemen, and I enjoyed every minute of it, congratulations, and I'll be watching for you next year! |

The next race Thank you all for the great tech coverage of the race for all of us around the world. It was so exciting...I was really upset when we had a storm here in Houston and the electricity went out for a few hours. By the time it came back on...Aero was retired. Will you be giving us the same great coverage on other
outings for the Aero 8? We would really like to see her develop into the fabulous car we all know she is. The web cam and message board has just electrified the Morgan Community!

Holland congratulates! Very well done, Morgan and don't cry over a spoilt engine. That's for the bayers to think about. The most important thing is that the car itself performed very well. I enjoyed every time it glimped over my television scream. So you've got every reason to be very proud of your achievement. Regards Harman Kloos |

A Great Effort Like many of your fans I was hoping that the car could have made it to the end of the 24 hour race, but it was not to be.
I enjoyed the race via the internet with Radio Le Mans and your web site. I thought that your web site was fantastic. The web cam and the updates are a great and helped to get a better feel for what was goes on in the pits during the race.
Many thanks for a great effort and hope to see you at Le Mans next year. |

THANKS TO DEWALT I guess I am remiss when I did not thank DeWalt for being your sponsor, for without them, none of this could have happened. All to often, we just take it for granted that these companies will throw thousands and thousands of dollars into racing, and it is not that simple. I truly admire DeWalt for being the strength you needed to start your first season. I must admit, that I have always seen the DeWalt name, but have never purchased their products up to this point, but you can bet I will rectify that in the near future. Again, thanks for giving me a team to grow with.

You will be back What a stirling effort! Better luck next time. The chassis that has been developed has proved that it has the makings of a world class car, bad luck with the engine prevented you from finishing this time, lets hope that you return to show what a great car you have. At least you didn't take off and fly into the woods!
Fantsatic effort. |

DID I GIVE EM HELL FOR YA OR WHAT..... Bet you can't guess what happened after I sent that blasting letter to Speed Vision about their remarks on the Morgan.....they politely started pulling for the Morgan...now, isn't that amazing.....anyway, just know that there are thousands of us out there that do care, and I for one am truly glad that I just recently ordered my own copy of a Morgan Poster to show my gratitude. Again, thanks for all the unbelievable efforts to everyone on the team.........
