Morgan takes great pride in its apprenticeship programme and takes school leavers into the following areas:-
Apprenticeships run for up to 4 years and involve day release to a local college. All other training is “on the Job” as the youngsters learn their trade from the crafts men and women around them. The company is committed to ensuring that apprentices are given every opportunity to receive the training needed in order to become a fully skilled member of the workforce. Social skills are also developed as the youngsters develop relationships with their colleagues, and learn more about the world of work in general.
Speculative enquiries for apprenticeships are gathered over a period of time and we also work closely with the local careers offices. The recruitment process usually begins with an Open Day at the factory, followed by individual interviews and perhaps a day of work experience. Competition is often fierce as places are very limited.
Any enquiries regarding apprenticeships should be directed to the HR Manager who will respond with the company’s current position.
Morgan is also very popular with students in higher education looking for a long term placement or employment during the holiday periods. Each enquiry is dealt with on its merits and the needs of the business at the time. Any enquiries should be directed to the HR Manager who will respond with the company’s current position.
Morgan is a popular choice with schools throughout the country for work experience placements. However, as we are a small business, resources are limited and we can only practically accommodate one student per week. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and any enquiries should be directed to the HR Manager who will respond with the company’s current position.
