Morgan throw open the doors to their Malvern factory and welcome hundreds of PistonHeads members for a Sunday Service.
The Morgan Motor Company once again welcomed hundreds of members from the PistonHeads community to Malvern for another well attended Sunday Service on the 19th of April 2015. As with all PistonHeads events the car park was filled with plenty of interesting vehicles from stunning 80s Porsches to the latest supercar exotica among the 300 cars present.
As well as the hundreds of stunning cars in the car park, visitors were also treated with an opportunity to tour the factory and witness the unique craftsmanship behind Morgan sports cars. The new Aero 8 was also on public display for the first time since being launched at Geneva , PopbangColour was painting the SP1 and the museum was open for everyone to explore.
Morgan were also delighted to be able to offer charity rides in the model range with almost 200 rides being conducted throughout the morning. The total amount raised was just over £1,600 and all proceeds will go to the new Worcester Oncology Unit.
“We always enjoy hosting passionate enthusiasts such as the PistonHeads community and I would like to thank all those that attended for their generosity and for helping to make the day a success. Most importantly I am pleased to announce that from the day we were able to raise £1,600 for the new Oncology Centre at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
